His father’s over expectations only ruined his self-confidence further with each failure. A ray of hope walked into his life as his wife, a charismatic personality spreading joy wherever she went. Everything is going per plan, but darkness comes knocking soon. He finds out that she does not have much time to live and takes it upon himself to fight all odds – even his family, if need be – to help her fight her medical condition. His father sees his own redemption in helping them, he knows his son will be a winner only if he will fight for her, with her. Will a defeated son prove himself to be a good husband? Will the father-son duo together be able to change the course of fate? Her Last Wish is an inspiring story of love, relationships and sacrifice, which proves once again how a good wife makes the best husband.

A man who considers himself as a failure and a woman with ambitions are a perfect mismatch, and yet they make up a duo in love with each other.
Vijay’s life was nothing less than a flop show with depressing storyline, he held a record for not being able to achieve anything with his life. His job was pulled off by his mother and his attempts at everything lead to failure.
Astha’s walk into his life was somewhat of a miracle, because Astha was too beautiful in comparison to Vijay and an extrovert.
Vijay’s failure didn’t hurt him anymore, he was happy with Astha but life wasn’t done with him, his paradise stood crumbling in front of him when he came to know that Astha was dying. His only light was pushed into darkness .
Her Last Wish is a story of a man trying to be  a good husband for the last few days of his wife, the story of a man madly in love with a woman, his wife.

The best thing about the book was the unpredictability, each time I came across a plot twist it amazed me, especially those seven wishes, they were impossible yet they were possible. The author has beautifully framed the story and has made it seem very real.

I have not read the first novel from the author’s pen so the first few pages disappointed me because I had expected a better way of writing from someone with a bestselling novel but still a reader’s expectation made me stick to the very end and I was able to witness a very beautiful story of love.
I had read numerous love stories in the past and the monotony of teenage love had made me run from the particular genre romance but this book was enough to renew my faith in Indian Romance Authors.

To top it all, the choice of disease was surely a master stroke but I won’t be revealing the name as the author has not done the same in the blurb.
Do not judge this book by its blurb, the tale inside is too beautiful to be written in short.

According to me, the book needs a sequel and I would love to read the story continuing with Aparjita in the scene, the author would surely manage to weave an unique plot like he did in this one.

Ratings- 3.5 out of 5 stars

As mentioned earlier, I had expected more from the author in terms of level of writing and improving that would make the book unquestionable.

Some editing errors were spotted.

Though the title is “Her Last Wish“, Astha didn’t have any specific last wish that has been highlighted in the book.
