Review on ’18 via Teen’ by Shreyasi Rhittika Phukon
Blurb
’18 Via Teen- Be yourself’ the name says it all. It enumerates the various phases of a teen and the hopes, aspirations, apprehensions, ambiguity, insecurity, dilemma, restlessness and sensitiveness, associated with each phase. Each story vividly depicts the psychological aspects of a teenage girl/boy and how the intuition helps her/his to overcome the hurdles one after another, which in teen makes her/his matured.
Review
Detailing a take on the teen minds of this generation, 18 via Teen extensively showcases the happenings and emotional turmoils that are relatable to the teenagers.
The managing of the tasks that are thrown towards the young minds, and the struggles in their lives are notable and are appreciative.
Though the narration through the book goes a little slow paced, the read is good.
Minor editing baffles amidst the read can be seen; somewhere in a line – where past and present tense are suddenly baffles with no necessity for the same.
The title and the cover are quite apt for the content and the positive messages conveyed through the book.
3.4/5 stars from my side.
Overall, an inspiring and refreshing read, intended towards the youth and sparkling minds of this generation.
