There will be times when you feel you have the best relationship, ever
There will be times when it will be the worst that has happened to you
There will be times when you know you are getting into something terrible; something that will not stop till it destroys you
And yet . . . You will be pulled into it so inextricably, unstoppably . . .
Dhruv knew Anuradha was his true love. So, despite being married with kids, he still went ahead with their affair. He hid it from his wife and his colleagues.
He told lies so he could be with her-it was that amazing! But he couldn’t save himself from the dark secret she was keeping. It pulled him into a vortex of danger so deep that he lost all he had. It happened to him and if you think it can’t happen to you-think again.
Review-
A extra marital affair and the burden of secrets that come along with her.
Dhruv Saxena, a man with a great wife and kids, prospering at his work place, falls for Anuradha right at the moment he saw her, in his office.
They came close and the usual sparks flew, making them fall, madly in love with each other.
Anuradha, recently out of a toxic relationship, found solace in the arms of the gentleman that Dhruv was, enough to not care about the fact that he had a family and he could never accept her as his, in front of people. She had left her past to move on , but the past chased her back, pulling in Dhruv as well.
Dhruv’s family was threatened, to the extent that he was afraid he won’t be able to mend the damage done.
You Never Know by Akash Verma is a story of crossing boundaries, blind love, realization and decisions.
The book is an easy read of 216 pages and the flow is great to complete the book in a go, as the story isn’t much complex and there are no sensational twist and turns.
The book does provide a funny yet serious lesson on how extra martial relationships can drag you though hell, as your better half is not sharing your problems anyone.
The cover has a mysterious impression, but there is room for improvement.
The sensuous scenes included, are a treat for those who would love to read some spice in between. Carefully written to make it graceful .

Overall- 2.8 out of 5 Stars
The book is somewhat of a Bollywood cliché, considering the sudden, obvious twist in the end.
The author’s previous book, A Broken Man, had risen the mark and this book is not able to reach the bar of expectations from successive reads.
