Review-
A teenage love story left for good, a failed mission, a betrayer and a victim. UNNS the captivation is the story of a RAW agent with a health that doesn’t appease him, a heart that isn’t his and a mission that risks his mates.
Atharva is a thrombophilia patient and on a mission to investigate the deeds of a scientist, his futile attempts of getting into the man’s circle bumps into Meher, a name lost in the cavities of his heart.
As old love resurfaces, he finds himself falling for her all over again, despite her lies, denials and loathe for India.
A certain urgency requires Atharva to seek Meher’s help and that’s when the hell goes wrong. He is sucked into the wormhole of lies and is stripped off of his designation.
A chance pushes him for the aid of a tiny tot and his fate is tested again.
But this time, will love come forward for his help?
Or it was really all from his side with no strings extending to the other?
UNNS-The Captivation is overally a good story as the author has managed to add as much of plot possible to those 244 pages.
The ones who read the book will know the real meaning behind the title of the book and surely UNNS is named differently.
Even the chapters carry the names which need some bit of decoding that proves that the author has given a lot of thought to the naming.

The book could have been more carefully written in order to give some satisfaction to the reader.
The past and present are not distinguished by any sort of change in font and that makes it inconvenient.
A reader can figure out what might be what but why to even make someone do an extra round if reading because they ended up confused.
I did not get how Atharva fell in love with Meher, going by the description provided in the book, it was nothing more than a teenage infatuation so improving the teenage love story part would be lovely.
A little more description in the spying areas would be welcomed.
The plot has a lot to give so a little more improvement in the way the story is told would do magic and would keep the reader hooked till the pages come to an end.
We know the stages of love, we would love to connect with it as well, a little bit of effort and the reader would be falling for the pair and that’s the little more that I anticipate from the author.
We need some more description in order to know that what exactly is going on with characters. For example, the professor discloses Meher being a divorcee and Atharva just ignores it like that, no thoughts on that, no internal reaction.
The plot being a good one, all that’s required is improvement in the storytelling skills of the author in order to provide something for reading.
